COZZANI, born
in LA SPEZIA, got
piano’s
diploma at Nicolň PAGANINI Conservatory
in Genoa,
ITALY.
He
got his training with maestros as excellent as Roberto CAPPELLO, Daniel
RIVERA and Franco TRABUCCO.
He attended specialization courses of Pier Narciso MASI, Piero GUARINO,
Alexander LONQUICH and of Joachin ACHUCARRO at Chigiana Academy in Siena.
Besides, he pursued perfecting piano’s studies with Marek Drewnowski,
Polish Pianist, in Italy
and in Poland.
He has been awarded prizes at a lot of pianistic contests and he has
played in more than 350 recitals in Italy and abroad (Germany, Slovenia,
Switzerland, Poland, France, Rumania, Moldava Popular Republic).
He performed on the piano in many concert places; he played at Barberini
Palace in Rome, at the Philarmonic Academy in Bologna, Marcellus Theatre
in Rome, Alfieri Theatre in Turin, Auditorium Canneti in Vicenza, church
of England in Bordighera, Herbs’Theatre in Milan, Theatersaal Rigiblick
in Zurich, Auditorium Musik Schule of Bochum, Organ Hall in Kishinev,
Hannover, Baden Baden, Schaffausen, Basel, San Gallo, Winthertur, Este
Hall in Ferrara, auditorium D. Lipatti in Satu Mare, Artists Club in
Torino,Rufolo Villa in Ravello, Civic Theatre in LA SPEZIA, Aurora Theatre
in Reggio Calabria, Pacini Theatre in Pescia, Siotto Institution in
Cagliari, etc., for important associations and musical festivals (Musical

He performed Mozart’s, Beethoven’s Chopin’s Concerts with many East
European Orchestras.
The repertory that He usually plays during the solo concerts is
constituted of refined thematic programmes (The spirituality from Bach to
Liszt, Homage to Valzer, From Spain to Sudamerica, etc); These programmes
contain also past compositions that
actually are not played very often.
Since 2003, He plays in duet with Elisabeth Ganter, Swiss Clarinet player;
Besides, he
has collaborated, as pianist accompanist, with important
professional singers as: Aldo Bertolo, Maria Luigia Borsi, Christa CAGI,
Mario Marchesi Leonardi, Massimo Pezzutti, Rossana Rinaldi, Orfeo Zanetti,
etc.
He teaches piano since 1991 uninterruptedly at the Municipal Music School
in Pescia and besides is
teaching in “A. Bianchi” Academy in Sarzana.
A lot of his pupils have been awarded prizes in many national pianistic
contests.
Member founder of the musical institution “The Piano” in Sarzana, is
often invited as member of judger committee in many national and
international contest.
